Description

Stereo upgraded and has Aux in jack, USB and Bluetooth! A note on over-mileage: I am absolutely willing to work with you on miles. I give good discounts for over-mileage to good renters who upload the required photos and follow the directions, and inform me about the overmileage Just ask me! Thanks Note this is an older vehicle and has its share of scrapes from San Francisco. It's also parked on the street so it may not be super clean. If you want to get a wash, I'll pay you back for it. Thanks for your understanding! Remote key handoff! Easy, and fast. Seats 7 with plenty of room to spare for luggage. Has stow and go seats - you can fold all 5 rear seats into the floor. Grand is well deserved as a name. One of the middle seats does not stow easily, it does but is tricky - I suggest just folding it down. If I have enough notice sometimes I can prepare the seats for you. This minivan is not so mini, especially inside. Seats 7, 6 with shoulder belts. A sheet of 4' x 8' plywood can lay flat in the back when the seats are down. It'll even take 10-12 foot beams up the middle. Interior dimensions behind the front seat are 90" long, 54" tall, and 64" wide. Seats are configurable in lots of ways. Load a bike or two, or three no problem, even with the 2nd row seats up seating 4 adults comfortably. When the seats are up there is a large amount of space in the very back. 14 cubic feet of storage in hidden compartments under the floor. Sliding doors on both sides. Good sound system (no aux jack though). Nice for long trips as well as errands and it lives for Ikea runs. Has 2 12V outlets Need Uber to get to the car? https://www.uber.com/invite/kup68zz1ue

Parking details

Parked on the street at 128 Morris st. Park on the street, NOT in the lot. It should go without saying but please PLEASE, DO NOT BLOCK ANY DRIVEWAYS. It's a high ticket, and or tow. Also don't park backwards! In this area in SOMA there are spots on morris most days day in the afternoon and evenings are no problem at all. The only exception is Monday night because of street sweeping. Monday night you can find a spot on Oak Grove or Merlin St. I know the streets around here very well, so if you are having trouble text me at 415-283-7327 - I can help you find a spot. If you have to return in the morning you can park in the lot at 40 Oak Grove St. Very inexpensive at $10 usually. If it's late morning (11am or later) most days during business hours I can allow you to park at a 2 hr spot or at a meter - but only by arrangement via text.

Guidelines

I do remote key handoff. I will require your drivers license and photo per Turo terms - https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001847347-How-do-remote-key-handoffs-work- Also I ask that you photograph the odometer before and after your trip and let me know if you went over mileage. I am flexible with mileage but we have to discuss it first. Generally I am fine to reduce the rate for good renters For Fastrak and bridge tolls this car uses Autotoll - no transponder but you can go through the fastrak lane and the plate will be photographed. You will get a reimbursement request for the toll a couple weeks after your trip ends, at the normal cash rate. so don't be surprised and please accept it, to keep things moving smoothly along, thanks! Note this does not apply to toll roads especially in Southern Calirfornia or for parking garages. Just the bay area bridges. Pets ok. Please keep them in a carrier... and you MUST clean up after them. NO EXCEPTIONS! I will charge you if there is pet hair because it's really bad for the next renter. Pets are ok as long as you VACUMN :) No smoking. ANYTHING. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you encounter evidence of smoking from a previous renter, please send me photographs immediately, you don't want to get caught with the $150-200 cleaning fee that will inevitably result. GAS Gas is not included. Whether or not it is full when you got it, and whether is seems to move the gauge, put some in! You used some gas driving around. It goes 12-15 mpg in town and up to about 24mpg highway. There is a very handy Chevron station at 6th and Harrison just a couple blocks from where the car usually is. If it's not full when you get to it you can report that in the app. If it's not full when you return it you'll pay for the gas plus $10 filling fee

Faqs

  • How do I adjust the seats up or down
Please be careful especially with the middle row. The left rear seat does not go down easily at all. It works fine as a seat and it does go down but it is tricky. You can fold it in half for lots of space but it's best to not try to fold it into the floor. If you have to text me for instructions. The other is fine. The pull tags are numbered to help you. LOWER THE HEADREST AND RAISE THE ARMRESTS! To lower or raise the middle row, you need to have the front seat all the way forward before the floor compartment will open fully. Be sure the compartments are empty. The rear seats are simpler and have no gotchas really except the headrests have to be retracted.

Thank you C.j. great rental experience.

Great sound system! Big and comfortable car, I slept in it and carried lots of clothes and a surfboard, perfect for big trips.

Helena D.-Oct 7, 2019

Our group had a good trip on CJ's car. In the first hour we picked up the car we had a flat tire and CJ was very responsive helping us changing the tire to the spare tire (in the meanwhile Turo's Emergency Road Assistance was unreachable for the whole night). Despite this incident, we were able to get to our destination and enjoy our trip.

Yeo Ho Y.-Aug 25, 2019

Great car. It is not new, but runs smoothly and it’s huge! We’ve had a great trip to Tahoe and highly recommend this vehicle and owner.

Aleksandr A.-Jul 14, 2019

This vehicle is great! Exactly as described. Strong-running and safe van that can carry 6 people very comfortably. CJ is an excellent communicator, which made for a very easy experience!
