Parking details

NOTE: I do not offer pick up from my home address (only Turo LAX lot). The reason is because it will be easier for you to go from LAX to the Turo lot via taxi & Turo will reimburse you for the taxi. They also provide a shuttle back to LAX.

    Absolutely & it's completely free other than idle fees. It takes roughly 20ish min to go from 10 - 80% depending on the supercharger. Note: if you're at a supercharger and leave the car plugged in then you can accrue costs of up to $1 / min which will be passed on to you

Jacob was awesome. Every host should be Jacob. Communicative, concerned, caring. Turo, on the other hand, I was not very impressed with. This was my first Turo booking. Picked up at the Turo LAX valet lot. The guy who checked out my car seemed to be high on some substance. It took him a long time to enter my details into his check-in app, and then I followed him to the car and rode with him back to the gate where he officially handed over. He drove about 200 ft maximum and I literally thought he was going to crash Jacob's car on the way. Anyone renting their car on Turo should think twice about using that valet lot. The other issue is that Jacob warned me (in advance of my arrival) that the car might not be clean when I pick it up. I assume this is a job the Turo valet lot is supposed to perform for him. Jacob explained that sometimes turn-around time is tight and Turo doesn't have time to clean the car properly. He preemptively offered a $50 credit if I had to get the car cleaned myself. I thought that was a nice gesture. Sure enough, the car was dirty. Not trashed, but not clean. In fact, it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a month or more (my personal estimate based on the amount of gunk built up along the folds /seams of the seat leather -- I may be wrong though). What's interesting is that my flight was actually delayed and I picked the car up about 8 hours after my scheduled pickup time. So there was really no tight-turn-around excuse to apply in this case. Again, I don't fault Jacob here. He was up front and warned me about it, and offered the financial credit without me even asking. Every rental experience is prone to hiccups. At the end of the day, I'd use Turo again. But only if I can rent Jacob's Model 3 again. Sweet ride.

My flight had been delayed causing me to land after the Turo lot has closed. Jacob went out of his way to contact them and arrange for my pickup after closing. He was also incredibly helpful with explaining the Tesla tech. To be quite frank, I will have a hard time ever renting a ‘normal’ car in Los Angeles after this Model 3. Great experience.

Great car! First time driving a Tesla and it did not disappoint. The included supercharger access was great and made charging a breeze. The car is very quick and responsive and the autopilot was hugely helpful in navigating around the LA area
