Description

If this is your first time using Turo, get $25 off your first trip by using https://turo.com/c/ryans156 to sign up for a new account. 👍 If you are thinking of purchasing Tesla vehicles, use https://ts.la/ryan58619 to purchase your vehicle for 5,000 miles of free Supercharging! Boy, is this an awesome ride. This dual motor Tesla Model 3 comes with enhanced auto-pilot so if you want to experience this self-driving capability, this is definitely the car to drive. With dual motors, this thing seriously flies, with 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds! With all this performance, you'll get 260-310 miles of range on a full charge. Take it to the Supercharger while you're at it. Supercharging fees will apply at the end of the trip, but it's definitely better and cheaper than filling up a gasoline car. Coming from out of state? We offer airport pickup and instructions will follow after booking.

Guidelines

Please message me with any questions you may have. Please follow these rules for the car: - No Pets/Animals (Subject to fine if violated) - No Smoking/E-Cig/Vaping in the car (Subject to fine if violated) - No Off-Roading - No washing the car (touchless/manual washing is okay if needed)

Faqs

  • Should I wash the car before returning it?
Thank you for the consideration but please, we prefer you to return it as-is without any car wash. Automatic car wash typically damages the car and even if you return it covered with dirt, we'll take care of it!
  • On return, should I charge up the battery?
Don't worry about it; however, please just make sure there's at least 15% of charge when returning the car.
  • Where do I charge up the car?
There are 3 options to charge up the car. Supercharger: This is the fastest charging option available; however, if you do use Supercharging, charging fees will be accumulated and will be passed on to the guest at the end of the trip through Turo. ChargePoint/J1772 Charger: This type of charging will charge up 20-28 miles per hour. Download the ChargePoint app to find the nearest charging. This option also provides free charging depending on the charging station. I will provide a J1772 charging adapter for your trip so charging at these stations will be available to you. Wall Socket/120V Charging: This is the slowest method of charging and will typically charge up 3-5 miles per hour. A Tesla wall charger will be provided in case you need to use this option. If you're using this option, we recommend you plug it in all the time.
  • Should I charge up to 100% on my trips?
No, the recommended charge is up to 80%, but if you're going on a long trip, pre-charging to 100% is not an issue. However, charging from 80% to 100% becomes inefficient and time-consuming so it is better to just charge to 80%.

Fantastic experience all around. Ling was so friendly and helpful in explaining everything about the car. I took it on a long trip through New Mexico and back without any trouble, and fell in love with the car’s technology, smooth driving, and amazing acceleration. It was my first time using Turo and things couldn’t have gone better! 100% recommend Ryan and Ling’s Tesla if you’re ever in Denver and looking for a fun rental option.

This was my first time using Turo. As EV enthusiasts but not owners, we wanted to try out a Tesla. The car exceeded our expectations. It is a great car driving in the mountains. Altitude is no issue and coming down a mountain with re-gen is as easy as it can get. On the highway the car holds the cruise speed both up and down. On a 2 lane road, such as through Independence Pass, you don't even touch the friction brakes unless the cars are stopped in front of you. As with any new car, you have to learn the new quirks. We tried re-gen in low (more like what we are used to so we can coast up to things such as stop lights). In the mountains we switched to standard re-gen which worked great and we never went back. It is an amazing car. Thank you Ryan for sharing it. Plenty of superchargers around Colorado. We never had any issues keeping the car charged. We had flight issues that delayed our arrival into Denver. Ling (Ryan's girlfriend?) was very accommodating and did a great job of handling all of the changes. She did a great job of explaining the car when we first arrived. Thank you for the experience.

Ryan and Ling were excellent hosts. Ling spent some time with me in going over the basic of renting the Tesla for two days. I ended up driving the car in the Rockies and found the car just amazing. The pickup for an electric Tesla is just amazing. It’s Lamborghini like pick up speed! The scenery in the Rockies was breathtaking! The driver assist feature shows how far advanced Tesla is compared to other cars. I’ve been a big fan of Tesla and testing it in the Rockies, is one of the best ways to confirm Electric Cars are far superior cars to the ICE cars. It’s basically a tablet on wheels. It lasts 2 ½ times longer, it’s 1/10th the fuel cost and 1/10 of maintenance cost compared to ICE car. If you look at the economics, which is always an important factor when buying a new car, the Tesla electric car is the way to go. I’m convinced the best way to test an electric car is through Turo. It’s a bonus when you find great hosts like Ryan and Ling who also love the Tesla innovation. Thank You, Ryan and Ling, for being great hosts!

Very nice car. She took the time to explain the car features and was accommodating with the earlier return time. Would consider renting from them again.
