<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As Turo’s International Community Associate, you will be a key member of the business development team in London and responsible for developing the </span><a href="https://explore.turo.com/globetrotters/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">International Commercial Host</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> program, launching Turo in new markets around the world. This is a holistic commercial role touching on everything from sales and account management, to business strategy and operations. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In short, you will wear many hats, often working independently, to gain an invaluable breadth of experience on the exciting mission to launch and scale Turo through partnerships with independent car rental businesses across the globe. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As a talented and independent individual, you will be looking to help define this role as we scale our international business. We want people who can grow with Turo. </span></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the international commercial host business</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">As with most decisions at Turo, data drives strategy. You will learn how to use data analytics to inform your direction as you identify key new markets, and build existing ones</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Identifying, pitching and onboarding new hosts for the International Commercial Host program</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will be the point-of-contact for our top commercial hosts across the globe, as you build a community of reliable, respectful and business-minded hosts</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Providing high-quality customer support to our users; fielding complaints and escalations across a broad range of areas: billing, failed reservations, cancellations, etc.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Monitoring and reacting quickly to resolve issues across Turo’s multiple international marketplaces</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop market launch and growth strategies</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Contributing ideas to further improve Turo’s product, user experience and team operations</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Coordinate with our teams in San Francisco, Boston and Toronto to share best practices</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1-2 years of experience in an account management, sales or business development role</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Undergraduate degree (2:1 or higher)</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fluent in English, however, additional languages are a plus!</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Top-notch oral and written communication skills</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong customer service and dispute resolution skills</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Entrepreneurial and curious mindset; we want people who can grow with Turo</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Great problem-solving skills and analytical abilities</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to work both in a team environment and independently with little or no supervision/direction</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Outstanding attention to detail, with a strong ethic of personal responsibility</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Personable, outgoing individual who enjoys working with people, and is able to handle conflicts and high-stress situations with grace.
