"Easy to drive & park in town. Sprightly & lively" says which also says it's one of the most fuel-efficient cars - 48 miles per gallon 11 miles per litre in real driving conditions, according to the dashboard Peugeot 108s are about the same as Citroen C1, Peugeot 107, and Toyota Aygo so you may already have driven one. Small Garmin satnav and a mount for your own phone Parking Assist. Some smartphones plug-in to the dashboard in some way to play music or display maps, but I don't know which or how.

Add optional Extras to your trip at checkout.
Air mattress gives you a discount code on a rental site for new customers, but if you don't find airbeds there I can get the cheapest plastic sort with a weeks' notice and rent them for £3 a trip each. They cost me about £6.
£3/trip1 available
Camera gives you a discount on Fat Lama. I have an old Canon large-sensor camera and 50mm lense on there, but you could rent it face to face for a fiver. I have a more normal canon camera with zoom & wide angle lenses too.
£5/trip1 available

Parking details

The key safe is a grey box on the left of 2 Avenue Gardens, London SW14 8BP. shows Kings Road Bus Stop and Mortlake Station. Free parking here in Avenue Gardens and similar nearby roads further south such as Gordon Avenue

I hoover the car a little between most rentals but hope you don't mind it very slightly mucky. I don't know Turo's fixed charges for damage but expect them to be a maximum - I haven't charged a customer for damage yet, not even for the chips on the front right wing.

  • Who & what can I carry? How big is the boot?
Children and other animals are welcome, as are hitchikers whether or not they pay towards costs. The web sites for finding them - if they're not on the kirb with a sign - are , and Recommended loads are up to 380kg for long or regular journeys.. The car might be wobbly with more. Boot dimensions (for the 2 door version) are on which is 180 litres apparently. There is a packing blanket in the boot and ask if you'd like the parcel shelf.
  • Do you have photos of the condition just before I hire?
Usually. The car is only used for a couple of car hire agencies which both have photography apps to encourage drivers to take lots of photos.
  • Is the car expensive to fix if I have an accident and there is an excess on the insurance?
I have never yet charged for scuffs of chips, including most of the ones you see on the car. Bumpers are about £150 + spraying on ebay, but might be cheaper on a site like Partshark second hand. The same sites have wing-mirrors and lamps. Tyres are about £40 with notice or £70 in emergencies. If your dog / baby / alter-ego was sick all over the car we can find out what an inside valet would cost or I can lend you a mains vacuum if it it helps. Bullet holes I think are quite easy to fix.

Everything was great. I needed to change the details of my booking and John was quick to respond. I picked the key from a secure location and had no problems with the car. Would rent again
