The pics of the van look real nice but when received the van it's cleaniness was way less than satisfactory. There was a huge stain on the carpet. The be honest I wasn't sure if I even wanted to place any bags or luggage on the carpet. Or to have anyone sit there. And when picked up the van it had a half a tank. We agreed that I would fill the tank up, keep the receipt and return it with a full tank. And I would be reimbursed for the gas. Upon returning the van I contacted the host and he suggested that I just l dropped off the van leave it at at the same spot (about 1/2 tank) as when I picked up, which I did. To fill up the van was $33 but host still submitted a bill for $12.36 for gas shortage. I personally wouldn't use his service again but I wouldn't suggest that to everyone Just have a very clear understanding with host and take pictures.

bad experience with this renter . At first he reassured me to take care of the car as if his own. Then, I received a call from my insurance about an accident claim made against me . The accident occurred 4 days earlier but the renter kept quiet about it. Later I found out he let someone else drive the car which he added as a secondary driver right after the accident occurred. Also turned out that the secondary driver did not even have a valid California license. He showed me an international license from China . I tried to get out the claim by not claiming fault but it was clear my car was at fault and I was liable to repair the other car . At that point, I notified Turo who took care of all the claim the other party filed against me . Days later, I got a notice of premium increase from my car’s personal insurance. Lesson to learn to all renter don’t get cheap basic insurance . Get the premium to avoid expensive liabilities. Accident do happen, but please notify the car owner right away . Be upfront and honest when you are renting the car on behalf of someone else .
