Communication was a problem at first since Ed didn’t respond to my 3 initial messages. However, once I send him a text message, he respond instantaneously. After that, I thought we would keep exchanging by text message and he switch to message through Turo... Taking possession of the car was made in the airport parking really quickly since we had to leave the parking rapidly so we didn’t have to pay for it. We were therefore in a hurry to have a look at the car and take pictures of the scratches. An other negative point is that the ad stated 28 MPG and according to my calculation, it was 19.4 MPG Good points though is that after taking possession of the car, it was very easy to keep in touch with Ed. Also he accommodate us so we could return the car 3 hours later without additional charge. Last thing, he throws in boards, umbrella, cooler and kid boosters for free.

Ed was almost an hour late making us late for our activity. He didn’t bother to msg or call to let us know he would be late. I called him, msgd him and then card him again as me and my 3 kids sat in front of the hotel waiting. Also he did share his location with me and Inhave screen shots of it sitting in the same location for almost half an hour after he was tonhave arrived. He acted like it was no big deal and he then complained about delivering the vehicle after we paid an $80 delivery fee in addition to the rental fee (over 160) also part of the reason we chose his car even tho it cost more than others was because of the fact that it came with four sets of Snorkeling gear which is perfect for me and my three kids. We got all the way down to Hanauma Bay to snorkel and there were only 3 masks to go with the 4 sets of fins so we had to obtain another set. When I called to let him know he again acted like it was no big deal. However for us it was since we had already paid to get in to Hanauma Bay and now only had 3 full sets of gear. Also, it says on Turo for us to refill it with gas or there would be a 70 fee and he told me not to that he would fill it. It just seemed odd since it went against the Turo instructions.
