Easy process - great communication. Excellent for my first Turo trip!

As a human being, there are somethings that belong in a car akin to oxygen for humans and chlorophyll for plants. This host’s car had an engine, but when our tire blew out on the expressway, we quickly realized that he did not have jack or a lug wrench. Would you rent an AirBnB if the host told you there was no door on your home? Anyways, when I spoke to Nicholas (the host), he admitted that he knew the jack and lug wrench weren’t there but he said that the “tire shop” stole it? Well, last time I checked, tire shops don’t use the car’s lug wrench. They would be out of business. Regardless, fast forward with two young kids in the car, a thunderstorm, we waited 4 hours for the State of Georgia’s CHAMP roadside assistance showed up and put on the spare tire so I could drive 100mi to our final destination. Kids starving, crying, and scared because we’re on the side of the road. As you can guess, this is my first and last time using Turo. They don’t check simple safety measures like this and enable people like Nicholas (the host) to maintain a 5.0 star rating. Pathetic and scary, if you ask me.
