Overall, Peng was an excellent communicator and his vehicle was perfect for our trip. This was our first Turo trip, and there was some confusion after our arrival. The listing said we would be picked up at the airport, and I kept Peng updated with our flight status. Unfortunately, the vehicle was not waiting for us and Peng said he was still working when we arrived. However, he was very generous and quickly called an Uber/Lyft to take us to the vehicle. When we arrived at the vehicle, it was locked and dirty. Peng left work to meet us and we had to wait for him. He told us that despite his requirement to wash the vehicle before return, the previous renters obviously didn't wash it. Several days later, we noticed the license tags seemed expired and verified they were on the registration. Oddly Peng didn't respond when we notified him of our concerns regarding vehicle registration despite his previous responsiveness. It was a little worrisome driving a vehicle with expired registration for 2 weeks. Dropoff went very smoothly. Again, this vehicle was a great vehicle for our trip and very affordable. I would recommend explaining Pickup/Dropoff better, verifying the vehicle is clean for the new renters, and definitely ensuring all legal requirements (e.g. vehicle registration) are taken care of though.

I rented a Toyota Camry but the next day was informed that it was unavailable and I could get a Honda Accord instead. I agreed although it didn’t look as nice/new. Upon pickup I was unable to get into the lockbox so the owner had to break it open which took about 30 min which made me late to plans I had with my family. Then as I drove off, I realized the right rear window would not roll up all the way. Unfortunately, it rained A LOT including thunderstorms for about 5 of the days I had the car. Then the key was slightly broken, it was loose which made it difficult to turn car on and remove key from ignition. The owner did let me keep the car an additional 10 hrs for the trouble.
